Incoming Recounts for Washington
Hey Patriots,
It's completely understandable if someone in Clark County or WA State is exhausted from grassroots efforts for real change. We have a message at our upcoming event that people rarely talk about and a focus that radical ideology will want nothing to do with. You can find details of our upcoming event here. We will recap lessons learned from the 2022 primary and general elections with updates from Joe Kent and Don Benton. In Clark County we are going to become great at ballot harvesting within the confines of the law! We often think about ballot harvesting as a bad word however it is legal in WA and highly effective when done right. Moving forward we are going to have remarkable engagement with ages 18-30. Patriots United is figuring out who are the most influential speakers and comedians with ages 18-30, working to secure them for future events.
What Happened With The General Election?
We got out worked with ballot harvesting. Out organized. It’s legal and a great way to increase local engagement when done according to the law.
49,000 republicans who voted in 2020 just failed to show up. This is pathetic!
Kevin McCarthy spent $13,000,000 against Joe and Republicans, that easily bought 2600 votes, which was the difference currently between Joe and Marie before the upcoming audit.
What Needs To Happen?
We must ballot harvest or we can hand over WA State to this radical ideology. And we need to have never seen before engagement with ages 18-30. We can take turns carrying a majority load of the work when we need a break from time to time. However, this type of real change requires real endurance. We are going to become great at legal ballot harvesting. Don’t throw in the towel until we see the results from becoming great at legal ballot harvesting.
Don Benton and Joe Kent Recounts?
Don Benton and Joe Kent are still in the battle to represent limited government authority and have been looking at estimated costs of a recount and have received estimates with massive disparity. Current quotes range from 0.68 cents to possibly $50 a ballot, depending on the size of the recount request. Two years ago it would have been about 0.25 cents per ballot. There is a massive difference in costs between a Hand Recount and Machine Recount. A basic local campaign will cost $40,000-$100,000 and to be able to afford a $40k+ recount is just not practical to most candidates and campaigns. Joe received an estimate that ranged from $250,000 - $500,000 for a full hand recount of our 3rd Congressional District. Don will have a Hand Recount that is targeted towards specific precincts in District 5 and Joe will cast a wide net with all of the 3rd Congressional District being recounted by machine. The good news with the machine recount is that the machines will need to be audited/calibrated and trustworthy people will be involved.
The Recounts are coming after final terms are negotiated. You support to both candidates is greatly appreciated by them and everyone who knows the importance of Limited Government Authority!
