The Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) is in violation of Federal Law by allowing biological males to compete in girls sports, and to occupy girls rest rooms, shower rooms and locker rooms.
During the last legislative session House Bill 1296 was passed into law gutting! 2081 (Parent's Rights Initiative) and violating a parent’s right to remain informed as to what their child is being subjected to in public school class rooms.
The Federal government under President Trump has dispatched a joint Department of Education / Justice Department task force to investigate Bob Ferguson and Chris Reykdal (OSPI) for their policy 3211 which violates federal law under Title IX, Title VI and the 1964 Civil Rights Act. A FERPA complaint has also recently been filed.
In partnership with organizations and private citizens from the 50 states, Washington Parents Network has been involved in requesting a Federal response to these Washington Sate violations.
